TTF and PhotographyThere are probably almost as many ways of defining a good photo as there are photographers. This is partly because the quality of a photo is a matter of taste and partly because the quality of a photo depends upon the purpose it was shot for. Some photos are good because they are simple and have straightforward messages. Other photos are good because they tell a story. It may also be razor-sharp details, striking colours or a surprising content that constitutes the quality of a photo. Many elements contribute to making a photo a photo of quality. At TTF we respect photos and, equally important, we respect the purpose our photos are produced for. We document reality and we always attempt to capture a broad view of reality, even though it can be quite time-consuming. We are always looking for good subjects that tell an exciting and different story or a story with an element of surprise. There is no need to journey to the end of the world in order to shoot fascinating photos. It is often possible to find exciting subjects right in your own back yard if you have the patience and the skill to spot them. You will find examples of our work in, more or less, every section of our homepage. However, to make it easy for you we have collected many of our photos in our gallery.

The Definition of a Quality Photo (According to TTF):We believe that a quality photo needs to have a clear cut message. Furthermore, a photo must be technically up to standards and it should be as simple as possible. A good photo should arouse curiosity and it should be an effective eye-catcher. A really good photo should not need any explanatory caption in order to be experienced. The composition of a quality photo may appear messy to the viewer, the message, however, should always be evident. Some photos are so good that simply looking at them gives you a special sensation in your stomach. Do you not find it remarkable that a mere photography can result in a physical reaction? Important skills that a photographer needs to master (according to TTF): • Patience
