This section of our homepage is dedicated to amateur photographers as well as to photography enthusiast who wish to improve their photography.

In the left-hand menu we have listed some of the many experiences we have gained on our various and varied assignments around the world. We continuously gather more experience, so please check out this item again whenever you feel like it.

It is important to a photographer to always develop and maintain a unique style. If you are a budding photographer it is a good idea to check out a lot of images made by professional photographers. Which images are the best ones? What makes them the best? Give some thought to how these photos were shot. Before getting started with the online school of photography it might be a good idea to visit our gallery and get a bit of inspiration.

You become good at photography mainly by practicing. Try out many different techniques. If you come across a procedure you have already tried, try doing the same thing again but in a different way. Using this approach, you will quickly realise that there are many different ways of shooting any given subject.

It Is Always the Photographer and Not the Camera That Produces an Image

For some photos you may need to own exactly the right type of equipment. This does, however, not mean that it is impossible to shoot good photos just because you are not the happy owner of a camera priced at $ 6000. The eye of the beholder is far more important than the equipment. In general, we believe that inventiveness, patience, curiosity, and approaching photography with a playful attitude is the way to improve your photography.

When you are taking photos you should always be mindful of how you treat your surroundings. Remember that the way you behave as a photographer affects not only what photos you are able to shoot but also how other photographers are perceived. This means that we share an important common responsibility. In general, it is best to be friendly, smiling, and obliging. Some situations may, however, require you to be a little more daring and quick to the draw.
