500mm

At one time or another, every photo enthusiast probably dreams about getting his hands on one of the really large lenses. When we bring our 500mm f/4G ED VR AF-S NIKKOR with us on assignment people often look at it longingly. This lens is quite a handful (large and heavy), but is delivers a sublime image quality that we often need in our field of work. Weighing 3.9 kg it is, however, not a lens that you bring along on hikes or similar activities.
