The 200-400mm f/4G ED-IF AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor is quite indispensable for assignments where things happen fast and we are not able to predict where or at what distance they are going to happen. This lens is expensive as well as heavy, but the results we get are worth it. The focusing is lightning fast and almost soundless, this makes the lens well suited for taking animal photos more or less unnoticed. It is a lens that is remarkably well suited for many purposes such as travel photography.
