The D700 – Compact but Highly Professional. At TTF we began using the Nikon D700 in the middle of 2008. The first assignment was located at the windswept island of Mykines, one of the Faroe Islands. The D700 can be described quite accurately as the smaller sibling of the D3, the Nikon top model. This camera has inherited most of the functional tools of the D3. The big brother is, however, still slightly faster in some situations such as, for instance, the number of frames per second. Nevertheless, the D700 is a really good camera, and we have already used it for several assignments.
